French composer and music critic (1803-1856), prolific creator of ballets and operas, Adam is best known for his ballets Giselle (1841) and Le Corsaire (1856).

Set of 2 1-page long autograph letters in French (sold untranslated) signed by him. Sizes are 4 x 5.2 inches and 5 x 8 inches, spotted rust stains, folds, in overall very good condition.
