Italian soprano (1907-1984), who excelled in the verismo repertoire, she was the  composer Pietro Mascagni's favorite Santuzza in his opera Cavalleria Rusticana. She also created the roles of Atte in Mascagni's Nerone,  Cecilia Sagredo in Franco Vittadini's La Sagredo and Saint Clare in Licinio Reficie's  1926 oratorio Trittico Francescano. 

Typed letter signed, 1 page, dated in Milan in 1935 on her own letterhead, bold and clear handwritten signature below the typed text. Written in Italian, sold  untranslated. Full size of page (when unfolded) is 8 x 11.5 inches, in excellent condition.
