German-born soprano (1826-1907) who starred in the world premiere of Verdi's I Vespri Siciliani. 

Autograph letter signed, 3 pages, written in French, sold untranslated, but with a partial typed transcription.  Size is 5.25 x 8 inches, in excellent condition.
