Italian verismo opera composer (1867-1948), famous for composing Andrea Chenier and Fedora, his two most famous operas.

Autograph letter signed, addressed to the celebrated Italian conductor Vittorio Gui (1885-1975), dated in 1940. 2 pages (on the front and back sides of a folded 4 page 5.25 x 8.25 inch document) written in Italian and sold untranslated. Several folds and a very small tear on back page, otherwise in excellent condition.
