Italian composer (1813-1901) best known for his operas, who came to dominate the Italian opera scene in the second half of the XIX century, and his works remain extremely popular until today.

Fantastic original vintage large cabinet photo of the composer by photographer Achille Ferrario (Milan) signed and inscribed by Verdi in September 1898. Size is 6.75 x 8.75 inches, trimmed at the top and bottom, otherwise in excellent condition.
