American General and Politician (1743-1818) of the Continental Army during the American Independence war.

Certificate of deposit signed by him in 1790 as Treasurer of Connecticut to pay soldiers during the Revolution.  Size is 6.3 x 7.25 inches, folds, otherwise in excellent condition.
