Autograph letter in French signed by him, dated 1857, to a certain Mr. Desolliers: “.. The handwriting of M. [Eugène] Vivier (the horn) is quite unknown to me. I'm sorry because I could have saved you from your embarrassment...". Size is 5.1 x 8 inches, 1 pages, rust stains over the left border, creases and folds, in overall very good condition.
