French author and playwright (1834-1908), best known for his collaborations with the works of Bizet and Offenbach.

Autograph letter in French signed by him (sold untranslated), dated August 27, 1881.  Size is 4 x 6.5 inches, two written pages in one sheet (front and verso)  overall light rust tone, in excellent condition.
