American tenor (1921-1967), took part in the world premiere of Gian Carlo Menotti's opera The saint of Bleecker Street at the New York Broadway Theater in 1954, performed througout the U.S. and internationally and made several recordings. Signed photograph, shown as himself, inscribed. Stamped on verso by photographer Lilian S. Bauer, San Francisco. Size is 8 x 10 inches, small tear on bottom left and several stains on verso, otherwise in good condition.
