American violinist (1895-1973) who became an important violin teacher in Chicago, a pupil of Otakar Sevcik.

Fantastic photograph signed by him with a long sentiment, dated in 1930; blind-stamped on the front and ink-stamped on verso by photographer S. Gordon, Chicago.  Size is 7.25 x 9.5 inches, minor silvering on borders, otherwise in excellent condition.
