Ukrainian-born French ballet dancer, choreographer (1905-1986), principal dancer of Diaghilev's Ballets Russes, and director of the Paris Opera Ballet.

Book "A L'Opéra" with many illustrations published by Champrosay (Paris), limited edition of 750 copies made with a special type of paper, no year indicated (circa the early 1940s).  Size is 10.2 x 13.4 x 0.8 inches, some wear on the front cover, inside in excellent condition.
