German soprano (1886-1977) who had a successful career as an interpreter of Strauss and Wagner heroines. 

Large wonderful signed photo shown as herself, ovalized and mounted on a photographer mat, inscribed to opera director Max Ast, dated in Vienna, 1926.  Photo is also signed in pencil by the photographer (illegible name).  Total size is 9.75 x 12.9 inches, actual photo is 6.2 x 8.3 inches, in excellent condition.
